SDB Bank Junior Executive – Sustainable Banking 2026

SDB Bank, a licensed specialized bank regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka with 94 branches islandwide, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Executive – Sustainable Banking. 📌 Position Overview

This position supports the implementation and daily operations of the Bank’s Sustainability, ESG, and Sustainable Banking initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating Environmental and Social Risk Management (ESRM) activities
Assisting with sustainability reporting and stakeholder engagement
Supporting capacity-building programs
Assisting sustainable finance and CSR initiatives

🎯 Candidate Profile

A Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university/institute OR
G.C.E. (A/L) with 3 simple passes + G.C.E. (O/L) English & Maths credit passes + minimum 2 years’ experience in banking OR
Minimum one-year service in the grade of Banking Associate + IABF/DBF qualification or recognized diploma
Basic understanding of sustainability, ESG principles, and responsible banking
Familiarity with ESRM frameworks (desirable)
Strong written & verbal English communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data management
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and time management
