Job Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve mobile money-related complaints and refund requests.
- Monitor complaint resolution timelines and maintain accurate documentation.
- Handle refund recoveries and debtor recovery activities through client follow-ups.
- Monitor failed transactions and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Perform transaction reconciliations and balance confirmations.
- Prepare operational and financial reports for management review.
- Support financial audits by maintaining proper records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen process controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Finance, Accounting or General Management.
- Part qualification in CIMA or Chartered Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in finance operations, accounting, reconciliations, customer operations or a similar field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with internet-based and web applications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Experience in reconciliations and financial reporting will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with a good command of English and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Applicants should be detail-oriented, proactive and possess a strong sense of ownership and flexibility to meet business requirements when necessary.
