Assistant Director – Administration
External Candidates
- A UGC-recognized Bachelor's Degree in Management, Law or Human Resource Management.
- At least 01 year of post-qualification experience in a relevant field at an eligible institution or reputed private organization.
Internal Candidates
External candidate qualifications OR a minimum of 05 years of relevant Junior Management Level (JM 1-2) experience at SLITA.
Age: 22–45 years. No upper limit for internal candidates.
2026 Basic Salary: Rs. 81,710 + approved allowances.
Salary Scale: MM 1-1-2025: Rs. 91,690 – Rs. 168,240.
Assistant Engineer – Mechanical Workshop
External Candidates – Any One Qualification Route
- UGC-recognized Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
- Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka.
- Relevant engineering qualification at NVQ Level 7 or above from an accepted institution.
- Relevant NVQ Level 6 or above, including accepted equivalent qualifications such as NDT, HNDE or NDES, with 05 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Relevant NVQ Level 5 or above with 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Internal Candidates
External qualifications OR at least 05 years of satisfactory service in a relevant Management Assistant – Technological (MA 2-2) position at SLITA, subject to the official requirements.
Age: 22–45 years. No upper limit for internal candidates.
2026 Basic Salary: Rs. 66,781 + approved allowances.
Salary Scale: JM 1-2-2025: Rs. 74,010 – Rs. 124,330.
Management Assistant – Grade III
External Candidates
- Passed 06 subjects in one sitting at G.C.E. O/L.
- Credit passes in 04 subjects, including Sinhala/Tamil, English Language and Mathematics.
- Passed 03 subjects at G.C.E. A/L, excluding the Common General Paper.
Internal Candidates
- Passed 06 O/L subjects with 04 credit passes, including Sinhala/Tamil, English and Mathematics.
- Completed at least 05 years of service in a permanent post under the specified employee category at SLITA.
Age: 18–45 years. No upper limit for internal candidates.
2026 Basic Salary: Rs. 43,312 + approved allowances.
Salary Scale: MA 1-2-2025: Rs. 46,220 – Rs. 84,350.
Driver Cum Office Aide – Grade III
External Candidates
- Passed 06 subjects at G.C.E. O/L with at least 02 credit passes in a maximum of 02 sittings.
- Possess a valid driving licence issued by the Department of Motor Traffic.
- Have a minimum of 03 years of driving experience after obtaining the licence.
Internal Candidates
- Possess the necessary driving licence.
- Have at least 03 years of driving experience after obtaining the licence.
- Completed 05 years of satisfactory service in a Primary Level Unskilled (PL-1) post at SLITA.
Age: 18–45 years. No upper limit for internal candidates.
2026 Basic Salary: Rs. 40,834 + approved allowances.
Salary Scale: PL 3-2025: Rs. 43,280 – Rs. 67,040.
