Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited is calling for applications from highly motivated individuals with the right attitude to join as Trainee Airport Services Agents at Jaffna International Airport and Batticaloa International Airport. 🛫 Job Scope

The selected candidates will coordinate with relevant departments regarding flight movements and support airport operational functions. Duties include performing pre- and post-flight documentation, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining airline standards.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

• Welcome passengers and check tickets/passports using airport systems
• Ask security questions, allocate seats, print boarding cards and luggage tags
• Weigh baggage and charge extra fees for overweight luggage
• Provide flight information and direct passengers through security
• Handle delays, missed flights, and cancellations
• Check boarding passes at the gate and assist VIPs, elderly, and children
• Make announcements over the airport PA system
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

🎓 Qualifications

• Passed G.C.E. (A/L) with 3 main subjects (in one sitting)
• Credit passes in English and Mathematics in G.C.E. (O/L)
• Fluent in English (foreign language ability is an added advantage)
• Minimum height: Male – 64", Female – 62"

🎂 Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 to 25 years as of the closing date (June 09, 2025).

🧪 Training & Career Path

Selected candidates will undergo a 2-year on-the-job training on an expenditure recovery basis. After successful completion, candidates may be absorbed into the permanent cadre. Selected candidates must be willing to work day or night shifts at any location across Sri Lanka.
