About the Role:

The Bank of Ceylon (BOC), Sri Lanka’s premier state-owned bank under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the post of Deputy General Manager (Transformation and HR Strategy). This executive-level position plays a crucial role in driving organizational transformation and leading strategic human resource initiatives aligned with modern banking standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

A recognized degree in HRM, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 20 years of experience, including senior managerial roles in HR, Strategy, or Transformation in the banking or financial sector.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven track record of leading organizational change and HR innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and implement HR strategies to support the Bank's transformation journey.
Drive policy development, employee engagement, performance management, and digital HR initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leadership and external consultants for sustainable workforce planning.
Monitor and report progress of transformation programs to the top management.
