About the Role:

The Bank of Ceylon (BOC), Sri Lanka’s premier state-owned bank under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the post of Deputy General Manager (Transformation and HR Strategy). This executive-level position plays a crucial role in driving organizational transformation and leading strategic human resource initiatives aligned with modern banking standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

• A recognized degree in HRM, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience, including senior managerial roles in HR, Strategy, or Transformation in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of leading organizational change and HR innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement HR strategies to support the Bank's transformation journey.
• Drive policy development, employee engagement, performance management, and digital HR initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and external consultants for sustainable workforce planning.
• Monitor and report progress of transformation programs to the top management.
