Latest Government Job Vacancies 2026

📢 Applications are now open for several management-level vacancies at the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA). Qualified candidates are invited to apply before the closing date.

📌 Available Vacancies

1️⃣ Senior Training Manager (Maritime & Seamanship)

Management Level: Senior Level Management 3
Qualification: Postgraduate Degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity.
Basic Salary: Rs. 109,215/-
Approx. Gross Salary: Rs. 204,500/- per month

2️⃣ Training Manager (Maritime & Seamanship)

Management Level: Middle Level Management 1
Qualification: Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity.
Basic Salary: Rs. 92,650/-
Approx. Gross Salary: Rs. 185,000/- per month

3️⃣ Assistant Works Manager (Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics)

Management Level: Middle Level Management 2
Qualification: NDT / HNDT / HNDE / NDES / NDET / ED-OUSL / City & Guilds Final Certificate or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity.
Basic Salary: Rs. 82,505/-
Approx. Gross Salary: Rs. 175,000/- per month

📋 Important Information

Applicants should be below 45 years of age.
Age limit does not apply to Government Department or State Corporation employees.
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Sri Lanka as required by SLPA.
Applications without relevant certificates will be rejected.
Government employees must apply through their Heads of Department.
