Ministry of Transport Vacancies 2026 – Procurement Specialist (PS-03)

The Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development invites applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Procurement Specialist (PS-03) for the Port Access Elevated Highway Project (PAEHP). This is a high-value government project (above USD 250 million) implemented through the Project Management Unit (PMU) in Colombo.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field recognized by UGC OR equivalent qualification
OR Associate / Professional Membership in a recognized institution
With 14 years post-qualifying managerial experience
OR Bachelor’s Degree + Postgraduate Degree with 10 years managerial experience
OR Class I Officer of Government All Island Service with 5 years experience

🧾 Age Limit

Government Officers – Up to 60 Years
External Applicants – Up to 64 Years

💰 Salary

Salary and allowances will be paid according to Management Services Circular No. 01/2019 issued by the Ministry of Finance.

📄 Terms of Employment

Contract basis – initially for 1 year
Extension based on performance and service requirement
Selection by structured interview
