Educational Qualifications
G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L)
Applicants should have passed three main subjects in one sitting at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L)
Applicants should have passed six subjects in not more than two sittings, including five Credit Passes. Credit Passes should include Sinhala/Tamil Language and Mathematics, with at least a Simple Pass in English Language.
Age Limit
Applicants must be not less than 18 years and not more than 24 years as at the closing date of applications.
According to the Gazette, eligible applicants should have been born on or before 12 October 2008 and on or after 12 October 2002.
General Eligibility
- Applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Applicant must be of excellent moral character.
- Both male and female candidates who satisfy the requirements may apply.
- The required qualifications must be fulfilled by the application closing date.
Physical Requirements
Minimum height: 5 feet 5 inches
Chest when expanded: at least 33 inches
Minimum height: 5 feet 3 inches
