MCF Scholarship 2026 for GCE A/L Students – Apply Now

The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Waqfs Board, invites applications for the Muslim Charitable Fund (MCF) Scholarship Programme 2026 for students commencing G.C.E. Advanced Level (First Year).

🎓 Who Can Apply?

• Students entering GCE A/L in 2026
• Belonging to low-income families
• Not receiving any other scholarship or financial aid
• Streams: Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Technology

📄 Required Documents

1. True copy of National Identity Card
2. True copy of GCE O/L results
3. True copy of Birth Certificate
4. Grama Niladhari certificate (low-income confirmation)
5. Letter from Mosque confirming financial status
6. Confirmation letter from School Principal

⏰ Closing Date

Applications must be sent by Registered Post on or before 31 January 2026.
Late applications will NOT be accepted.

📌 Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Scholarships will be awarded based on the final selection results.
