External Degree - Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) – 2025

Eastern University, Sri Lanka announces the commencement of the Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) External Degree programme, administered through the Centre for External Degrees and Extension Courses (CEDEC).

Entry Requirements:

• Passed G.C.E (A/L) in Commerce stream and qualified to enter the university system in Sri Lanka *
• OR Passed G.C.E (A/L) in any other stream and qualified to enter the university system in Sri Lanka *
• OR Possess one of the following professional qualifications:
  • National Certificate for Accounting Technicians
  • National Certificate in Marketing
  • National Certificate in Business Studies
  • The Vocational (Special) Teachers' Certificate
  • HNDA/HNDBA/HNDBFM – Passed 1st and 2nd Exams
  • CIMA / ACCA – Passed 1st and 2nd Exams
  • ICSL – Intermediate Exam Passed
  • Sri Lanka Bankers’ Institute – Final Exam Passed
  • Advanced National Diploma in Management – OUSL
  • Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka
• OR Other qualifications approved by the Senate of EUSL

* Note: Applicants must have sat G.C.E (A/L) in 2023 or before and must have passed all 3 subjects in one sitting within a maximum of 3 attempts with at least 30% in the Common General Test.

Selection Procedure:

Priority will be given to applicants in the first category based on merit.

Course Fee:

Rs. 120,000.00 (in 3 installments)

• 1st Year: Rs. 60,000
• 2nd Year: Rs. 36,000
• 3rd Year: Rs. 24,000
