The Department of Linguistics of the University of Kelaniya invites applications for the 2025 intake of the Diploma in Tamil. This program aims to enhance Tamil language communication skills and cultural understanding, promoting harmony among different ethnic communities in Sri Lanka.
📚 About the Diploma
Tamil is a classical Dravidian language and one of the official languages in India, Sri Lanka, and Singapore. With over 75 million native speakers worldwide, this diploma is a one-year fee-levying program designed to provide both written and spoken Tamil knowledge.
🗓 Duration: 1 Year (Lectures on Saturdays or Sundays – based on student preference)
