Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a local or foreign university recognised by the University Grants Commission in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Information Systems
- Computer Engineering
Required Work Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Software Development: Web, mobile or enterprise application development using Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, .NET, C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular or Flutter.
- Database Management: Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server.
- Cloud and DevOps: AWS, Azure, Docker or Kubernetes.
- API Development and Integration.
Other Required Attributes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of digital banking solutions and enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented personality.
- Highly innovative with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
Added Advantages
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Experience or knowledge in Big Data.
- Exposure to blockchain technologies.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Key Accountabilities
- Explore and evaluate emerging technologies in both global and local contexts to identify potential applications for the Bank.
- Propose IT-driven innovations aligned with the Bank’s digital roadmap to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Design and develop Proof of Concepts to evaluate the feasibility, scalability and business applicability of new technologies.
- Provide technical insights for innovative solutions while complying with security requirements, regulations and industry best practices.
Age Limit
Applicants must be 40 years of age or below as of the application closing date.
Contract Period
The total contract period will be three years, subject to an annual review of the selected candidate’s performance.
