Ayurveda Medical Council Management Assistant Grade III Vacancy 2026 – Applications Open

The Ayurveda Medical Council, functioning under the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, has officially called for applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for recruitment to the post of Management Assistant Grade III (MA 1-2). This is a permanent government employment opportunity with attractive salary benefits, EPF/ETF entitlements, and career development prospects.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who possess the required educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria. The selected candidate will be appointed on a permanent basis subject to a probation period.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must satisfy the following educational requirements:

• Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in one sitting with six (06) subjects including Sinhala/Tamil, English Language, Mathematics and at least one subject with a Credit Pass.
• Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in three (03) subjects excluding the General Paper.
• A certificate in Microsoft Office or Office Application Software from a recognized institution with a minimum duration of six (06) months will be considered an additional qualification.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Must possess excellent moral character.
• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties efficiently.
• Must be willing to serve in any part of Sri Lanka if required.
• Age should be between 18 and 45 years.

Selection Procedure

Candidates who fulfill the required qualifications will be invited for an interview. Recruitment will be made on a permanent basis subject to a probation period of three (03) years.
