Job Description
Recruitment for Research Assistant (Temporary) – Family Health Bureau
Applications are invited for recruitment to the post of Research Assistant on temporary basis for the study on “Best practices that support exclusive breastfeeding in preterm neonates less than 32 weeks of gestation and their outcome at the initial discharge from hospital” conducted by the Intranatal and Newborn Care Unit, Family Health Bureau, Sri Lanka.

📝 Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with hospitals to identify participants
- Collect data on eligible newborn-mother pairs
- Complete hospital data extraction forms
- Conduct weekly interviewer questionnaires
- Interview Nursing Officer in charge
- Support data entry and management
🎓 Qualifications
- Pre-intern medical graduate with MBBS
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel)
- Research experience preferred
- Good English & Sinhala/Tamil
- Good communication skills
- Residing close to hospital preferred
