Hatton National Bank (HNB), one of Sri Lanka’s leading private sector commercial banks, is inviting applications for the position of Specialist – Alternate Channels (Customer Experience, Automation and Innovation). This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic and motivated professionals who are passionate about digital banking, automation, and customer experience improvements.

📌 Job Description

The selected candidate will enhance customer journeys across alternate banking channels by driving customer-focused improvements, automation initiatives, and innovative solutions.

📝 Key Responsibilities

  • Improve customer experiences across mobile & internet banking, self-service machines, chatbots, IVR, and digital platforms.
  • Analyze customer journeys and data to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Support automation of manual processes using workflow and digital tools.
  • Assist in piloting innovative digital solutions and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with Digital Banking, Operations, IT Risk, Marketing, and Customer Service teams.
  • Support project testing, rollouts, and performance reporting.

🎯 Requirements

  • Knowledge of digital banking, customer experience, and alternate channels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for innovation.
  • Experience with automation tools, CX analytics, or workflow tools is an advantage.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in digital banking, CX, automation, or related areas.
  • Professional certifications in Digital Banking, CX, or Process Improvement will be an added advantage.
