1. Sri Lanka Railways Accommodation Bungalow Assistant Vacancies 2026

The Sri Lanka Railways Department invites applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens to recruit 20 Accommodation Bungalow Assistants for railway accommodation bungalows.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have passed six subjects at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination, including at least two credit passes, in not more than two sittings.

Professional Qualifications and Experience

Professional qualifications or experience in housekeeping, professional cookery, food and beverage services, hotel work, hospital work, bungalow maintenance, cleaning or a related field will be treated as additional qualifications.

Applicants holding NVQ Level 3, NVQ Level 4 or higher qualifications in a relevant field may receive additional marks at the suitability assessment interview.

Selection Method

Qualified applicants will be selected through a suitability assessment interview. Marks will be awarded for additional educational qualifications, professional qualifications, relevant experience, extracurricular activities and performance at the interview.

2. Legal Officer Grade III Vacancies 2026

Applications are invited to fill the Legal Officer Grade III vacancy in the Department of Animal Production and Health under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have been admitted and sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. They must also possess at least three years of active professional experience after being sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law, or at least three years of relevant legal experience in a legal post at a government institution.

3. Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Cadet Officer Vacancies 2026

Applications are invited from qualified unmarried male and female Sri Lankan citizens for Cadet Officer vacancies in the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have passed six subjects at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in not more than two sittings, including Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil, with at least four credit passes including English.

Applicants must also have passed three subjects in one sitting at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination or an accepted equivalent examination and obtained at least 30% for the Common General Test.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum male height: 170.6 cm
• Minimum female height: 162 cm
• Minimum male weight: 50 kg
• Minimum female weight: 45 kg
• Eyesight must be 6/6 without spectacles or contact lenses
• BMI must be between 18.5 and 24.9

4. Medical Laboratory Technologist Graduate Recruitment 2026

The Ministry of Health and Mass Media invites applications from qualified graduates for recruitment to the orientation and coordination training course for the post of Medical Laboratory Technologist.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess a University Grants Commission-recognized BSc Special Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with a minimum academic value of 120 credits.

Applicants must also be registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council to practise as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Sri Lanka.

Deposit Rs. 1,000 to Bank of Ceylon, Taprobane Branch, Account Number 7041318, titled “Secretary of Health – Examination Fee Collection”. Attach the original receipt securely to the application and retain a photocopy.

5. Physiotherapist Graduate Recruitment 2026

Applications are invited from qualified graduates for recruitment to the orientation and coordination training course for the post of Physiotherapist in the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Service.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must hold a University Grants Commission-recognized Bachelor in Physiotherapy or BSc Special Degree in Physiotherapy with a minimum academic value of 120 credits.

Applicants must also be registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council to practise as a Physiotherapist in Sri Lanka.
