📢 Applications are invited for the Sri Lanka Planning Service (SLPS) Limited Competitive Examination 2026 to recruit qualified officers to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Planning Service.
This competitive examination is conducted under the Ministry of Public Administration to fill 24 existing vacancies. Eligible applicants currently serving in the Public / Provincial Public Service can apply online through the Department of Examinations.

- ✔️ Applicants must possess 05 years of active and satisfactory service in a confirmed post
- ✔️ Service must be under MN-1-2025 salary scale or above OR SL-1-2025
- ✔️ Qualification date remains 17.04.2026
- ✔️ Closing date has been extended until 18 June 2026
- ✔️ Applicants who already submitted applications do not need to reapply

🎓 Educational Qualifications
- ✔️ Degree from a recognized Sri Lankan University
- ✔️ OR Degree from a foreign university recognized by UGC
- ✔️ OR Degree from an institution established under an Act of Parliament
- ✔️ OR Qualification recognized under Section 25A of the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978
💼 Experience Requirements
- ✔️ Must hold a permanent appointment in Public / Provincial Public Service
- ✔️ Minimum 05 years active service required
- ✔️ Service must be confirmed and satisfactory
- ✔️ Salary Scale: MN-1-2025 or higher OR SL-1-2025
- ✔️ Disciplinary record must be satisfactory
