SLGTI Kilinochchi Courses 2026 – Free NVQ Level 4 & Level 5 Admissions Open

The Sri Lanka German Training Institute (SLGTI) – Kilinochchi has officially opened applications for the 2026 student intake for NVQ Level 4 and NVQ Level 5 technical and vocational training programmes. These programmes are conducted under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education and provide students with modern industry-focused technical education completely free of charge.

Students from all parts of Sri Lanka who wish to build a successful career in engineering, technology, ICT, automotive, construction, electrical, mechanical, and food technology fields can now apply online. Classes for the new intake are expected to commence in July 2026.

NVQ Level 04 Admission Requirements

• Applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Completed NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field OR
• Passed G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination with 6 passes including Mathematics and Mother Language
• Age limit: 16 – 24 years
• Medium of instruction: English & Tamil

NVQ Level 05 Admission Requirements

• Applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Completed NVQ Level 4 in the relevant field OR
• Passed G.C.E Advanced Level Examination with minimum 2 passes in one sitting in Physical Science or Bio Science stream OR
• Passed G.C.E Advanced Level Examination with 3 passes in Technology Stream
• Medium of instruction: English
