SLEAS Grade II Second Efficiency Bar Examination 2026
Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service – Grade II
The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has announced the Second Efficiency Bar Examination for Grade II Officers of the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service (SLEAS) – 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held in November 2026 in Colombo.
Applications will be accepted online from 24 August 2026 at 9.00 AM until 18 September 2026 at 9.00 PM.

Examination Medium
The examination will be conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English. Candidates must sit the examination in one eligible language medium only.
Online Application
The online application must be completed in English only through the Department of Examinations online application system. Applicants should carefully follow the official instructions before submitting the application.
After submitting the online application, the applicant must download the application and complete the required sections by hand, obtain the required signature certification and submit the printed copy to the relevant Head of Institution.
Examination Fee
- There is no examination fee for the first application.
- For subsequent attempts, Rs. 600 per subject is charged for each attempt.
- Payments must be made using the payment methods provided through the online system.
Important Instructions
- Submit the application before the closing date and time.
- Provide accurate information when completing the application.
- Incomplete applications may be rejected without notice.
- Download and keep a copy of the submitted application.
- Keep the payment receipt where applicable.
- Check the admission card carefully when it is issued.
