Benefits
Permanent appointees are required to contribute 10% of monthly salary to the Universities Provident Fund. The University makes the applicable contributions to the Universities Pension Fund, UPF and Employees' Trust Fund.
Temporary appointees are also covered by the applicable UPF and ETF contribution arrangements.
Eligible academic staff may receive Cost of Living Allowance, Academic Allowance, Research Allowance and other allowances approved by the University Grants Commission.
Eligible Senior Lecturer Grade II and higher appointees are entitled to sabbatical leave in accordance with the relevant UGC provisions.
