✅ Admission Requirements
Applicants should satisfy at least one of the following requirements:
- A minimum of three (03) passes at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in any stream.
- Completion of any Foundation Programme offered by OUSL.
- A minimum of 30 credits at SLQF Level 2 or above from a programme approved by the OUSL Senate.
- A qualification or accredited work experience equivalent to NVQ Level 4.
- An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the OUSL Senate.
📚 About the BA in Social Sciences Degree
The BA in Social Sciences is a multidisciplinary undergraduate programme offered by the Department of Social Studies of the Open University of Sri Lanka.
The programme begins at Level 3. Students complete a combination of compulsory, elective and Continuing Education courses and are required to complete a total of 90 credits for the degree.

💳 Application Fee & Payment
The online application fee is Rs. 500/-.
Payment can be made using a Credit Card or Debit Card. Applicants who do not have a Credit/Debit Card may make the payment in cash through an OUSL Regional or Study Centre according to the university's application instructions.
