Sri Lanka Police has officially released the latest Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment Gazette 2026 for Male and Female applicants. Applications are now open for the posts of Sub Inspector (General Police Service), Women Sub Inspector, and Special Task Force (STF). Eligible Sri Lankan citizens can apply online before the closing date.

Sri Lanka Police SI Vacancy 2026 Qualifications

• Passed G.C.E O/L with 6 subjects including Mathematics, Science, Sinhala/Tamil and English.
• 5 Credit passes required.
• Passed G.C.E A/L in one sitting.
• Age limit: 18 – 25 years.
• Minimum Height: 5 Feet 6 Inches.
• Applicants must be physically and mentally fit.

Monthly Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 55,410 – Rs. 91,630 with additional government allowances including:
