1. Assistant Director (Communications)
Number of Posts: 01
Qualifications
- Special or General Degree with Mass Communication as a subject from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
- A postgraduate degree or postgraduate diploma of not less than one year in a field related to Communication from a recognized university.
- Applicants should have completed 10 years of satisfactory and efficient service as a Media Officer, Information Officer or Development Officer in the media division of a Ministry, Department or government-affiliated institution.
- Outstanding contributions to media activities related to the environment and transport will also be considered.
2. Assistant Director (Research)
Number of Posts: 01
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a field related to Research, Statistics, Environmental Science or Environmental Management from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
- Postgraduate Degree or Postgraduate Diploma of not less than one year in one of the above-mentioned fields.
- Minimum 10 years of satisfactory and efficient service in a position related to research activities in environmental management, transport management or vehicle emissions in a Ministry, Department or government-affiliated institution.
3. Management Assistant
Number of Posts: 02
Qualifications
- Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six subjects with credit passes in four subjects, including Sinhala/Tamil, English and Mathematics.
- Passed all subjects at one sitting of the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination, excluding the General Common Test and English.
- Completed a Diploma Course in Computer Literacy (MS Office) from a recognized vocational training institution.
Age Limit
Applicants should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years of age. The maximum age limit does not apply to internal applicants.
Other Requirements
- Applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Applicant must be physically and mentally fit to perform the assigned duties and serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
- Applicant must possess excellent character.

Nature of Appointment
