The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has officially invited online applications for the post of RED Team Specialist (On Contract). This opportunity is ideal for experienced Cyber Security professionals with expertise in Red Team Operations, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, and Breach & Attack Simulation (BAS). Candidates meeting the required qualifications and experience can apply online before the closing date.

• Perform RED Team Testing and Breach & Attack Simulation (BAS).
• Conduct proactive Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence activities.
• Identify advanced cyber threats and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Monitor cybercrime trends, ransomware groups, phishing campaigns and APT activities.
• Develop and improve threat hunting frameworks.
• Prepare technical reports and security recommendations.
• Support incident response and cyber defence operations.
• Research emerging cyber attack techniques using the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or another related field recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Applicants with one or more internationally recognized Cyber Security certifications will also be considered.

• Minimum 4 years of RED Team or Penetration Testing experience.
• Leadership experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Bug Bounty Programs and CTF competitions.
• Knowledge of .NET, Python, Bash and PowerShell scripting.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Experience in Threat Hunting and Intelligence-led RED Team operations.
