Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Bank’s procurement function and related value chain activities.
- Implement modern procurement strategies and industry best practices.
- Provide procurement-related management information for strategic decision making.
- Improve supplier performance and procurement efficiency.
- Work closely with business units to provide procurement solutions.
- Monitor market trends and improve IT procurement processes.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable commercial terms.
- Optimize inventory, storage, and outsourcing methods.
- Manage supplier engagement and procurement value-chain improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- A Degree from a recognized university approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.
- Diploma in Purchasing Management, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management from ISMM or equivalent qualification.
- Corporate Membership of ISMM will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 05 years executive-level experience in a recognized public or private sector organization.
- Experience in IT-related procurement will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of National Procurement Commission (NPC) Guidelines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Experience conducting technical and procurement committees.
- High proficiency in IT and web-based procurement systems.
Age Limit
Applicants should be 50 years or below as of the closing date of applications.
Salary & Contract Conditions
- Fixed-term contract for 03 years.
- Annual performance reviews.
- Contract may be renewed based on performance and organizational requirements.
- Salary package will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
Selection Process
