🎓 Educational Qualifications

G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L)

• Pass 06 subjects in not more than 02 sittings.
• Credit passes required for:
• Sinhala/Tamil Language
• Mathematics
• Science
• English

G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L)

• Passed in one sitting during 2021, 2022, 2023 or 2024.
• Bio Science Stream OR Physical Science Stream candidates may apply.
• General English and Common General Test are not considered.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

• Sri Lankan Citizen.
• Age between 18 – 28 years as at 29.05.2026.
• Minimum height: 4'10'' (147.3 cm).
• Must be physically and mentally fit.
• Must be unmarried.
• Both Male and Female applicants can apply.
• Must have resided in the relevant district for the previous 3 years.

❌ Not Eligible To Apply

• Students currently following full-time courses in State Universities.
• Students enrolled in National Colleges of Education.
• Students following full-time Ministry of Health or Government training programmes.
• Married or divorced applicants.
• Applicants submitting multiple applications.

• Birth Certificate
• G.C.E. A/L Result Sheet with Z-Score
• G.C.E. O/L Result Sheet
• National Identity Card
• BOC Payment Receipt
• Residence Certificate (DS-04)
• School Leaving Certificate (B-59)
• Affidavit confirming unmarried status

🏥 Training Details

• Training Duration: 03 Years
• Medium: English
• Monthly Training Allowance Provided
• Must complete training successfully
• Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 10 years in Government Health Service after appointment.
