Sri Lanka Tea Board invites applications from qualified, dynamic and result-oriented Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Director – Administration & Human Resources.

Job Description

• Administration functions of the Board
• Transport, Security, Library and Maintenance activities
• Human Resources Management and Development activities
• Monitoring and evaluation of physical and financial targets
• Reporting to performance appraisers under the Director General and Chairman

Qualifications – External Candidates

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management / Public Administration / Business Administration / Human Resources Management / LLB from a UGC recognised university
• Postgraduate Degree / Master’s in Management / Public Administration / Business Administration
• Minimum 15 years managerial level experience after first degree in Administration & HR

Qualifications – Internal Candidates

• Should possess the qualifications required for external candidates
• Minimum 5 years satisfactory service in Middle Managerial Category Grade I of Sri Lanka Tea Board

Salary Scale

Age Limit

Applicants should be not less than 35 years and not more than 50 years. Upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.

Benefits

• Employee contributes 10% to EPF
• Sri Lanka Tea Board contributes 15% to EPF
• Board contributes 3% to ETF

General Conditions

• Applicant should be a Sri Lankan citizen
• Should be physically and mentally fit
• Should have excellent character
• External candidates will be appointed on 3 years probation
• Confirmed internal candidates will be subjected to 1 year trial period
