Number of Railway Security Vacancies
Educational Qualifications
Applicants should have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination in not more than two sittings with the qualifications specified in the official Gazette.
- Pass in six (06) subjects.
- At least two (02) Credit Passes.
- Sinhala / Tamil / English must be included.
- Mathematics must be included.
- Requirements should be satisfied within not more than two sittings.
Age Limit
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not more than 28 years old as at 28 September 2026.

- Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens.
- Applicants must satisfy the character requirements stated in the Gazette.
- Applicants must satisfy the required physical and medical standards.
- Applicants should satisfy all required qualifications by the relevant date stated in the Gazette.
