The Open University of Sri Lanka offers the Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours – BPharm (Hons) degree programme through the Department of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Health Sciences.

About the Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours Degree

The Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours programme is an undergraduate degree offered by the Department of Pharmacy of the Open University of Sri Lanka.

The programme covers areas including pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical pharmacy, medicinal chemistry and pharmacognosy, and pharmaceutics.

According to the official programme information, candidates must satisfy the required academic qualifications and become eligible for admission based on their performance at a test and/or interview conducted for admission.

OUSL Bachelor of Pharmacy Admission Requirements

The official programme information states that applicants should generally possess three passes in one sitting in the Science stream at the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination, together with the specified Chemistry and English requirements, or another equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the OUSL Senate.

Meeting the minimum academic qualifications alone does not automatically guarantee admission. Selection may also depend on performance in the admission test and/or interview.
