Salary Scale

PL 3 – 2025 Salary Scale:
Rs. 42,780 – 10x490 – 10x540 – 10x590 – 12x630 – Rs. 66,540

Open Exam Qualifications

Sri Lankan citizen.
Permanent resident of Eastern Province.
Age: 18 – 45 years.
Minimum height: 5 feet.
Passed G.C.E. O/L with 6 subjects including Sinhala or Tamil and at least 2 Credit passes, or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
Valid driving licence for B and C vehicle classes.
Minimum 3 years driving experience after obtaining the licence.
Good physical fitness and good eyesight.

Limited Exam Qualifications

Must be serving in Eastern Provincial Public Service.
Grade 8 / Year 9 educational qualification.
Valid driving licence for B and C vehicle classes.
Minimum 3 years licence validity before closing date.
Minimum 5 years continuous, permanent and satisfactory service.
Minimum height: 5 feet.
Good physical fitness and good eyesight.

Application Fee

Examination fee: Rs. 1,000
Payment should be made to the Secretary, Provincial Public Service Commission, Eastern Province through any Divisional Secretariat in Eastern Province. Payment receipt must be uploaded with the online application.
