Project Director – Jet A-1 Pipeline Project | CPC Job Vacancy
Ceylon Petroleum Corporation invites applications for the post of Project Director (Jet A-1 Pipeline Project) on contract basis for the construction of a Jet A-1 transfer pipeline from Muthurajawela to BIA Katunayake and related storage tank facilities.

Educational & Experience Qualifications
- B.Sc. Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Electrical Engineering from a UGC accepted university.
- Postgraduate Degree / Associate Membership / similar professional qualification in the relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant managerial experience, including 5 years at senior managerial level.
- Alternative pathway: Corporate/Fellow Membership with minimum 8 years’ managerial experience, including 4 years at senior managerial level.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Jet A-1 Pipeline Project according to scope, budget, schedule, quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, cost, quality, safety and risk control.
- Review engineering designs, technical submissions and construction procedures.
- Manage contractual matters, claims, disputes and negotiations.
- Prepare progress reports, board papers, recommendations and project updates.
