š¢ Bank of Ceylon (BOC), Sri Lanka's leading state-owned commercial bank, is inviting applications from experienced IT and technology professionals for the prestigious position of Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Position: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Organization: Bank of Ceylon (BOC)
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
Contract Period: 03 Years (Fixed-Term)
Closing Date: 22 June 2026
š Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, ICT, Engineering or a related field.
- Degree must be recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.
- Relevant professional qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
š Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of total work experience in a local or international bank or financial institution.
- At least 05 years of experience in a similar senior leadership capacity.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation and technology-driven change initiatives.
ā Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the Bank's IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of technology operations with business objectives.
- Develop IT governance, cybersecurity, compliance and operational frameworks.
- Manage IT operations, service providers and enterprise-wide technology solutions.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing IT teams.
- Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
